Welcome to Miss M Tutoring

As an experienced K–12 homeschool consultant, teacher and tutor, I specialize in virtual, individualized learning designed to guide students forward with confidence and clarity. I support learners across all grade levels, with a focus on full-curriculum instruction for grades K–8 and targeted support in core high school subjects.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, K–8 from Western Governors University and was previously a licensed K–8 teacher in Indiana and Washington State. With over five years of experience in the private sector as a tutor, teacher, and homeschool consultant, I support families through curriculum planning, instruction, assessment, and long-term academic growth.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that all students are capable of learning. I use technology to expand access to knowledge, emphasize critical thinking and content integration, and connect learning to student interests and real-world skills such as communication, digital literacy, and problem-solving. A strong growth mindset is central to my approach, helping students build confidence, independence, and genuine understanding. By maintaining a small client roster, I ensure each family receives thoughtful planning, responsive support, and meaningful progress.
